Do you have an Apron?

I wonder how many know what an apron is unless you are into cooking.
Long ago the principal use of Grandma’s apron was to keep the dress beneath protected, because in the old days it was not as easy to wash clothes as it is now plus, it was to protect the skin. Along with protection, it served as a potholder.

Grandma would carry eggs, apples, and veggies from the local market or the farm, and hold the money to pay for them. And when the weather was cold, she could wrap it on her arms to warm up. Quite often she’d use it as cover for kids hiding from siblings or parents. More importantly, it was always handy and wonderful for drying tears.

It will be a long time before someone invents something that replaces an apron. So who do you go to now? Who wipes your tears away, consoles and make your pain go away?

They say, “You can’t fix a problem until you have acknowledged it exists”. That’s very true. I wonder what will you see when you look into the mirror, see yourself and discover what it is that is making your life not the way you want it to be?

Take a moment or few to ponder upon your situation. Are there simple steps you can take? By all means, take them. If the issue seems to linger, get help. You don’t have to do it alone.

Breathing exercises before the hypnosis session are like an apron – bringing your emotions and whole self back into balance. Make an appointment or contact me for more information.
