Spring – Symbolizing Renewal and Unity
Many things in our lives that are different yet convey the same. If we just look at things on the surface, they are different, yet if we go beyond what is, the symbolism or its hidden meanings, only then we realize how much of it is of the same root cause (we as ONE – unity). We as humans move towards our most dominant thought pattern, thus much of what we do, are rituals and habits. We act consciously, yet it is our subconscious mind reacts to what we have learned and has been ingrained in us (the emotional connection to things). In the next few weeks we will come across significant dates of celebration. In the coming weeks, I will blog on each topic (3).
Today being first day of Spring, millions celebrate the Persian New Year (NowRooz). Celebrated not only by all descendants of Iran-Persians, also by many Armenians born in Iran… not because we are Muslim, but its symbolism and what we call, habits and ritual.
Two weeks after, Easter is upon us. Were on Easter Sunday, millions of Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. A New Year – A New Birth.
Few weeks after, Armenians around the world will celebrate/commemorating to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
Each one is about renewal, recognition, rituals, and tradition. Created by us, for us-that no matter where and who we are, we as humans strive to live together in unity and in peace. To Live Purposefully is to look beyond what is. To acknowledge, to accept, to renew and to honor humanity as a whole. Let us rise above what we see on the surface and vow to be a better human and celebrate our differences that set us apart, yet were established to unit us all.
Live Purposefully-YOU MATTER
