When did you have a nice cry?  Did you cry your heart out and let it all out?

How did you feel afterwards – a bit of relief and comfort? After you were done crying, did you become aware of the things in your life that are going well for you but could not see beyond that one issue you were crying about?  Did you know when you cry, you cry for you?  To pity yourself for feeling a certain way or not having what you want?  Feeling helpless or perhaps you are crying just because?

Who said don’t cry – you sound like a cry baby.  Well, unless you are constantly crying with no good reason, tears can be healing.

Crying is a sign of release – tears that flow are to validate, then wash away what you feel. It is truly a validation of feelings that overflow. One word or segment of a movie that touches your heart or memory stored deep within can make you teary. You see, hypnotherapy can help you release certain feelings and move through your core issues.  Many of my clients have shed tears during their session, and that is because I help them connect with their true self, where all the information is stored.

We cry because we are angry or sad.  We cry when someone we care for dies, is getting married or just had a baby.  But why the tears?  Because often times, we cry for ourselves.  It is healing. That is the beauty of us humans – we allow the tears to flow – we allow ourselves to feel.  So go ahead, allow your body to respond and let the waterfall flow to cleanse, wash and give you a sense of comfort.  Breath through it and when you eventually let your tears dry, allow yourself to take inventory of all the positive and good things in your life.  See things with another perspective if you can. See beyond the hurt.   It only starts with one breath, one hope and a hint of a smile to feel lighter and better.  If you have other issues that may need tissues, contact us – we can help.  You deserve to be OK and feel better!
