"I passionately believe in
prevention, natural approaches to health and well being.
I advocate moderation, laughing, home cooked meals, outdoor walks, listening to music that moves you, reading,
pampering the body, community volunteering, networking and mentoring others to healthy lifestyle and
wellness."
My journey in the field of hypnotherapy and alternative healing began over ten
years ago when I had to undergo surgery for an ovarian cyst and through the
guidance of hypnosis I was able to heal
myself. Being a hypnotherapist, for me, is all about
being. I'm doing work I believe in, with people who amaze
me. I am a practical
hypnotherapist and tend to take more of the scientific approach. When
I describe what hypnotherapy means to me, I get a little sentimental. I don't know if any of us
are put on this earth for a purpose. But if we are, I believe I have found mine. In less than five
minuets, I can hypnotize
myself to have root canal performed without any use of anesthesia. It's
been 8 years since I have stopped smoking through self-hypnosis and now assist my clients
in doing so and much more. There are many things that are
unknown to us, yet we all
possess the power to heal - many do!
Why not begin today to
take control over your mind and body, and join me in Being the
Change! Begin to accept and appreciate yourself more than ever. Be the
Change. ...

Understanding the effects of stress and working under
pressure come from her knowledge and years of experience in the corporate world as well as law firms, as paralegal
and legal secretary.
In 1992, Liza was scheduled to undergo her third surgery for ovarian cyst when she was referred
to a hypnotherapist. After four sessions of hypnotherapy, she was able to heal herself, making the surgery no
longer necessary. This powerful experience with hypnosis and guided imagery, combined with her natural talent for
listening and understanding, led her to this science to help others.
She went on to study with Gil
Boyne, (Master Hypnotist and Hypnotherapist, developer of Transforming Therapy, founding father of Rapid Induction,
President of A.C.H.E.) receiving her diploma in 1996. The scope of Liza's practice includes -Traditional and Ericksonian Therapy, Gestalt Therapy,
Time-Line Therapy, Guided Imagery, NLP and occasionally Past Life Regression.
In 1996 she founded InnerSite, and has since been
growing her practice to a full healing center. Her caring presence, energy,
experience and enthusiasm for these subjects make her an inspiring and effective guide. Liza is committed to
helping others reach their full potential through the healing of mind,
body and emotions. She also provides variety of presentations, workshops and trainings for the general
public.Liza has been invited on numerous local radio and TV programs and is becoming quite known for her
“Hypno-Massage” (using
hypnotic suggestions while massaging) and her talks on: “Listen to
Your Body Talk”, and “Don’t expect
Change, Be the Change” are in demand with companies and organizations
throughout.
Liza can work with anyone for anything because she
gets to the root cause of the problem rather than just putting a band-aid on the symptom. This way the symptoms
will not return later in life nor will they be replaced with something else.
Liza has guided, coached and supported survivors of domestic violence and abuse by
assisting them to successfully move forward in their lives with courage, dignity, confidence and self-esteem. She
is moved by the desire to help women grow without guilt, without fear and with the ability to communicate with
honesty, humor and self confidence so that they "Be the Change imagined".
Having a great love for her community, Liza is currently serving on the Board of The Glendale YWCA
as 2nd VP., Fundraising Chair and is Board Memeber of Glendale Crime Stoppers.
She is
currently participating in, or has participated in, numerous organizations and boards such as: The Kiwanis
Club of Glendale, Executive Toastmasters, Verdugo Hills Business and Professional Women, The Salvation Army, The
American Cancer Society, Glendale AIDS Awareness and various Chambers of Commerce.
Liza has lived in Glendale, California
since 1974 and is fluent in English, Armenian and Farsi.
