Do you sometimes feel as if you are stuck, are in a funk – either professionally or personally?
Do you feel as if you are existing and not living life fully?

We all have experiences and moments of feeling stuck, in a funk, or just feeling blah. I know I have experienced this and can relate to my clients who come is saying: ‘I can’t put a finger on what it is but I feel something is missing’ or ‘I feel stuck’.

Our past experiences and choices have allowed us the opportunity to arrive in the very place we are in this moment. Moving on from the past is one thing, yet moving forward and beyond our boundaries, however is far greater. But what if we need to hold on to some of those moments? What if we could reflect rather than revert? Reverting back to old patterns and behaviors will certainly bring us back to the very place we used to be, but reflection serves as a reminder of the moments we were courageous enough to push through difficult times and experiences.

Frankly all the modalities we as therapists use to help our clients are just tools and techniques – none matter if you are not ready for change. When you associate with the same negative people, repeat bad or negative habits, constantly nag, complain, or keep doing the same things over and over, why would you expect different results?

It is truly about moments like this that we ought to rise above any lack we are feeling and choose to go beyond. There is no such thing as lack; and there is no such thing as weakness; there is only the illusion of lack and weakness which is created by our very own fears.

Let’s face it – to make any change, you must Stand Up and Go Beyond. Stop the whinny, needy, sneaky behaviors and realize the only person that can help you or do anything for you – is the one within you that has been looking up to you.

Isn’t the pain of doing the same thing with no good result reason enough for you to put a stop to it and focus on your desire in achieving something better and greater that feels good?  You can do one thing different and better each day, every day. Continue the same positive behavior or routine for 33 consecutive days believing this change is happening and working.  Expect it, and watch it happen for you.  Relax – Visualize – Meditate

Living in a fast track society we expect changes and transformations happen instantaneously and we get disappointed when success takes longer than we think it should. The reality is change can, and does happen. For some, it is instantaneous as for others it happens quite subtly.  So resist thinking “it does not work”. Step up each day to gradually become the change you’re meant to be.  You can then make a difference by first becoming your own success story.

Everything that happens by us – is for us.  So why not stand up and allow empowering thoughts to enter your mind so you believe you are good enough, beautiful enough, smart enough and yes…powerful enough. You will find the right tools to guide you or expand you, the right courses or coaches and relationships you have been longing for.

Be courageous in your thoughts and actions and you will be courageous in your life.
